Mighty, Deadly Storm Heads to US East Coast

Hurricane Sanday, dubbed "Frankenstorm," heads to US East Coast.        (NOAA/NASA)

This monster hurricane, dubbed "Frankenstorm," touched down in the Caribbean, killing 20 there.  The death toll in Haiti is still rising, and so far the mortality rate for this massive hurricane is about 50 souls and climbing. 

This megastorm is slated to hit the East Coast by Tuesday of next week and people are bracing themselves for that storm right now.  It is expected to be the greatest storm in the century...

Mudslides in the Philippines Kill 27 and Dozens More Are Missing

4/22/11, Fox News:  Heavy rain causes mudslides in a southern island of the Philippines.  Twenty-seven are known dead and dozens are still missing.  There are shanties along the mountainous area where mudslides are known to be common during the rainy seasons.  The mudslides destroyed many shanties in this area and the death toll is unknown at this time.  

My Comments:  Many would say, "How could a loving God allow such disasters, as those described above, as well as many prominent catastrophes...

Mass Bird & Fish Deaths & Mass Sharks Along Florida's Coast

Approximately 5,000 blackbirds died recently in Arkansas, about 3,000 birds died in Louisiana and approximately 8,000 doves died in Italy.  As many as 100,000 drum fish have washed up dead along the coasts of Kentucky and Louisiana and about 100 tons of dead fish have washed up along the coast of Brazil.  About 25,000 dead crabs have washed up along the shores of Great Britain and a carpet of dead snapper washed up in New Zealand, all within about the last 45 days from the date this article w...
